Terms for reservations, the Genesis pass and .on names.
Draft of 10 October 2026, revised after a clause-by-clause check against what the software does. Square brackets mark something that is not decided yet, and when a clause was added or changed.
1. What this covers
These terms cover three things offered by Elevated Spaces Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202641668K), trading as OpenApps, 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051 ("OpenApps", "we"):
- a reservation of a .on name, made on this website;
- Genesis membership and its public badge, the Genesis pass, claimed inside OnWallet;
- a .on name, claimed inside OnWallet.
The rules about which names exist, how a name is recorded and when a name can be ended are in the name policy. [The page linked here is the working document, with defaults still open. A dated public edition, with every default settled and a statement of how it can change, will be the one that forms part of these terms.] How personal data is handled is in the privacy notice.
Other terms apply too. A claim is made with OnWallet and an OnWallet ID, and the perks are delivered through an OpenApps account. Each has its own terms and rules, among them: an OpenApps account holds one OnWallet ID; an ID that moves to another account waits 30 days before it earns again; a newly added sign-in method cannot remove the others for 7 days.
2. Reservations
- A reservation is a hold, not ownership. It keeps one name for one verified email address. It gives no right to the name or to membership, and no right to an invite key beyond what section 7 says of the draws.
- Three steps, checked before keys are given. To reserve, you also: (1) quote our OnWallet launch post on X, and give us the link to your quote post (the quote names the .on name you want to reserve); (2) follow @openappsnetwork and @onwallet_si on X from the account you quote from; (3) join our Telegram channel, give us your Telegram username, and link your Telegram account with the "Verify with Telegram" link we show and email you after you confirm (required; if the link runs out, we send a new one). We take your X account from the link to your quote post. A very new X account, or one with no followers, may be found not eligible. OpenApps checks these steps by hand before keys are given. A reservation with a step missing is not eligible for an invite key, and we email you to say which step was missing. Our decision on eligibility is final. [Added 30 Oct 2026. Changed 31 Oct and 4 Nov 2026.]
- One reservation per verified email address. Two addresses that reach the same mailbox count as one: capital letters and anything after a + sign are ignored, and for Gmail the dots too. Someone with several mailboxes can make several; each lapses unless it is claimed.
- There is no limit on how many reservations one mail domain can hold. Addresses at disposable mail domains are refused. [Changed 26 Oct 2026.]
- When you ask for a reservation the name is held for 30 minutes while you open the link we email you and confirm on the page it opens. Opening the link does not confirm anything by itself. The link works once, for 24 hours. If you confirm after the 30 minutes, the name may have been taken by someone else.
- If you ask for several names before confirming one, each is held for its 30 minutes, the first you confirm is your reservation, and the others are dropped.
- The form sends one address at most three messages an hour. Past that it answers as usual and sends nothing, so that it cannot be used to flood someone's mailbox; wait an hour and ask again.
- A confirmed reservation gives you a short code. It is your receipt for the reservation, and you use it in OnWallet when you claim. If your reservation is drawn for an invite key (section 7), the key we email you already includes the reservation, as a second code for the same reservation, so you enter that one code; the code you were shown keeps working too. With an invite key from a Genesis member, you enter the key and your code. Until claiming a .on name without an invite key is open (section 4), the code is useless without an invite key; once it is open, your OnWallet ID is enough to use it. [The invite key that includes a reservation: added 26 Oct 2026; given by draw since 30 Oct 2026.]
- A confirmed reservation is held until 14 days after the date your wave opens, which we will email to you [period to be confirmed]. If the name is not claimed by then, the hold lapses and the name is available to others. [How long a reservation is held for someone who will claim it without an invite key, who has no wave: to be set before claiming a name without a key opens on Mainnet.]
- You can cancel at any time with the cancel link in your verification or confirmation email. The two later notices (your wave has a date; three days left) carry no link of their own and point you to the confirmation email. You are asked to confirm the cancellation on the page it opens. The reservation and your email address are then deleted from our live systems at once, and from encrypted backups within 30 days. Our email provider keeps its own delivery records for [period: provider not chosen].
- We may refuse or end a reservation for a name the name policy does not allow, and we may pause reservations. A pause does not shorten a hold.
- The name rules are applied automatically and are cautious on purpose, so they sometimes refuse an ordinary word.
- Reservations are limited in number. When they are full, no more are taken.
3. Genesis membership and the Genesis pass
- Genesis membership belongs to your OnWallet ID. It begins when you enter an invite key. The Genesis pass is a public badge of that membership, recorded as an NFT on the XRP Ledger that cannot be transferred today. Perks depend on the membership, not on holding the badge.
- The pass has no price, cannot be sold today, and carries no promise of any token.
- A pass cannot be sold or transferred today. The token issued now can never be transferred. The intention is to offer, later, to replace it with a transferable one that carries the same number. No date is promised, and nothing here is a promise that it will happen. Membership and its perks would stay with your OnWallet ID: a pass bought from someone else would not carry them.
- A pass is never issued again: not to a new address, and not after it is removed or lost. If you lose the key to the account that holds it, the badge stays in that account; your membership and its perks, which belong to your OnWallet ID, are not affected. [If passes are made burnable by the issuer: we can remove a pass only as the policy says. Whether passes are burnable is not decided; it is fixed before the first pass is issued and stated here.]
- The ledger lets a holder destroy (burn) their own pass. OnWallet does not have a button for this yet; one is planned for a later release. [Until then, if passes are issuer-burnable: write to us and we will burn it at your request.]
- When you claim, you can choose your pass's number from 1 to 9,999, if nobody holds it and it is not one of the numbers we keep back. If you do not choose, the pass gets the next free number when you accept it. The number and the level are recorded by us and can be corrected by us. A pass's level can also rise as section 7 says.
- We will issue no more than 9,999 passes [closing date to be confirmed].
- The pass gives no right to payment, profit, ownership or repayment, from OpenApps or anyone else.
4. .on names
- A .on name is an NFT on the XRP Ledger, separate from the Genesis pass, held in your own account.
- A name cannot be sold or transferred today. The token issued now can never be transferred. The intention is to offer, later, to replace it with a transferable one. No date is promised, and nothing here is a promise that it will happen.
- One name per OnWallet ID, ever: a name claimed with a Genesis pass counts, and so does a name claimed on its own. Further limits apply and are shown in the wallet: how often the chosen name or the claiming account can be changed before the name is issued, and how often a claim can be repeated when an offer runs out (an offer lasts 24 hours).
- A .on name does not need a Genesis pass. Any OnWallet ID may claim one name with no invite key, once we open this; on Mainnet we open it when we choose, and the wallet shows "Get a .on name" only while it is open. A Genesis member may also claim the pass without a name, and claim a name later on its own. A name claimed this way is held for 3 days while you add XRP to the account, can be held again once, and is never held for more than 7 days in all. The number of names claimed this way each day is limited, and so are names from one network address; disposable mail domains are refused. There is no limit per mail domain. [Added 24 Oct 2026. Changed 26 Oct 2026.]
- No fee is charged for a name claimed with a Genesis invitation, or claimed on its own with an OnWallet ID, and such a name has no renewal fee. You pay the network fee, and part of your balance is kept as the ledger's reserve while the name is in your account. Names issued later are intended to carry a platform fee; none has been set or published.
- We are technically able to end (burn) any name. We promise to do so only on the grounds in the name policy, and to publish each case in a public log. A name's NFT is also burned, without being a revocation, when an offer nobody accepted runs out.
- The registrar decides which names exist. What anyone can check on the ledger, and what depends on the registrar, is set out in the name policy and on How to know it is real. [The reserved list is a starter list. It has not had its review and is not a trademark search; these terms are not published before it has.]
- Today .on names are read by OnWallet only. Other wallets and explorers do not resolve them.
5. Lost keys, ending a name, and complaints
- If you lose the key to the account that holds your name, you can ask for the name at a new account. We burn the old NFT, publish that we did in the public log, wait 7 days from that entry, and issue the name again to the new account. During the wait the name points to nobody. This is done by our operators, by hand, with two of them signing each step; it is not something the wallet does for you. [How you ask, and how we check that it is you (a fresh sign-in to your OnWallet ID and a signature from the new account, under the policy): the support process is not built yet. The wallet has no screen yet for accepting a name issued this way.]
- If your name is burned by someone who has stolen one of our keys, we issue it again to the same account, with no wait. It cannot go to a different account in that case, because there is no burn of ours to publish first.
- A Genesis pass is never issued again, in either case (section 3).
- After any burn a name cannot be registered by anyone else for 90 days, so that payments meant for its last holder do not reach a stranger.
- If you burn your own name you can take a new one after that period, at most once in 12 months.
- If we end a name you can appeal within 30 days. After a successful appeal we issue it again: at once to the account that held it, or after the 7-day wait to another.
- Complaints that a name infringes a trademark or impersonates someone go to [address: the mailbox does not exist yet]. The holder has 14 days to answer unless the misuse is in progress, and two people decide. [Who they are, and whether an outside body hears disputes: to be decided.]
6. Perks
Rewards are at OpenApps' discretion and may be adjusted for long-term sustainability. That includes reducing, pausing or ending any perk below.
| Perk | What it is |
|---|---|
| Monthly OpenApps credits | Up to US$10 a month for a Member, rising by level to up to US$100 for a Steward (the two levels between: up to US$25 and up to US$50). Credits begin on a date to be published; none are granted before it. The rules below are the ones built into the software. |
| How a month's credits are decided |
|
| Spending and lapse | Credits can be spent wherever OpenApps products accept credits, which includes leading AI models. What a credit buys differs between products. Granted credits are spent before credits you bought. Unused granted credits lapse at 00:00 UTC on the first day of the next month and do not roll over. Disconnecting OnWallet from your account lapses what is left of that month's grant. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged or refunded. |
| Levels | Member, and three levels above it; the highest is Steward [the names Explorer and Builder for the two between are working names]. Every member starts as a Member, level 1. A pass rises to the second level when three people its holder invited hold their Genesis pass (section 7). The levels above it are assigned by OpenApps, and no way of reaching them has been set. Levels do not unlock more invite keys. |
| Supporter features | The Supporter features of OpenCapture and OpenPdfEdit [list and start to be confirmed, once checked in both products]. |
| No fee for your name | As section 4. |
| Early access | Access to new OnWallet releases before they open to everyone, when we offer it. |
Perks belong to the Genesis member, not to the pass as an object: they cannot be sold or assigned.
7. Invite keys, and the time you have to claim
- An invite key lets the person who uses it become a Genesis member.
- Your pass rises to level 2 when three people you invited hold their Genesis pass. When three people who used invite keys issued to you each hold their Genesis pass on the ledger, your Genesis pass rises from level 1 to level 2 by itself, and the level is written in the pass on the XRP Ledger. A pass that is revoked or burned before then does not count. A level once given stays. A member whose membership has been removed never rises. Nothing else is given for inviting. [Added 26 Oct 2026.]
- We give invite keys by draw from confirmed reservations: 250 keys in a first draw at launch, and 1,000 more in a later draw. OpenApps decides how each draw is run, and may give some reservations more chances than others. OpenApps may also give keys to some reservations outside the draw, for example to winners of an activity it announces. A drawn reservation is checked first (section 2): one that is not eligible gets no key, and another reservation is drawn in its place. A key we email already includes the person's reservation, so it is the only code they enter in OnWallet. A reservation cancelled or lapsed before a draw is not in it, and being drawn is not promised. [Changed 30 Oct 2026 and 31 Oct 2026. The dates of the draws: to be published.]
- A key works once. Keys are released in waves, and each wave has a cap.
- Invite keys are needed to claim. They are not needed to create an OnWallet ID or to reserve a name.
- Keys may not be sold. A key that was sold can be voided, and a membership gained with it removed. Who gave each key and who used it is recorded, and is used to count levels, as the privacy notice says.
- A claim must be completed within 90 days. The 90 days run from the day OnWallet first prepares your claim for an account (its first voucher). After that the claim is lost and cannot be opened again; the membership stays.
- An invite key is not an OpenApps referral code. Inviting gives no bonus and no payment; the rise to level 2 above is all it changes.
8. When membership ends
- We can remove a membership for fraud or abuse of invite keys, and at your request. A removed membership cannot be regained with the same sign-in mailbox.
- Deleting your OnWallet ID ends the membership. Deleting your OpenApps account ends the perks on that account; it does not delete your OnWallet ID.
- OpenApps products learn that a membership has ended the next time you sign in with OnWallet. Until then an account you reach another way keeps showing the perks.
- Ending a membership does not remove a pass or a name from the ledger by itself.
9. Your wallet and your XRP
- You fund your own XRP Ledger account. Have at least 2 XRP in your account; your exchange may require a larger minimum withdrawal. The wallet shows the exact amount, which it reads from the ledger.
- About 1.2 XRP stays in your account as the ledger's reserve. You cannot spend it while the account and its NFTs exist. Treat it as locked. The reserve is set by the ledger, not by OpenApps, and can change.
- OpenApps pays the network fee to mint. OpenApps sends no XRP to anyone, except the XRP that activates the wallet of a member whose OnWallet ID uses a university email, and never asks you to send XRP to it to claim a Genesis pass or a name.
- OpenApps never holds your whole key and cannot move your funds. If you protect your wallet with OnWallet ID, the key is split into three parts: one on your device, one held encrypted by OnWallet ID, and one that you keep (a recovery kit file, a passkey, or your own Google Drive). Any two parts rebuild the key, and only on your device; our server never holds two. We can help you recover on a new device only together with the part you keep, your sign-in and your authenticator app, and after a 72-hour wait during which your email and devices are alerted.
- We can end a name, and a pass if passes are burnable, as section 4 and the policy say. That does not touch your XRP or other tokens.
- Transactions on the ledger cannot be reversed.
- OnWallet, including the Genesis claim, has had an internal security review only, not an independent security audit. Use it with small amounts only.
10. What is not promised
- No token, airdrop, allocation, sale or financial return of any kind.
- No date for a transferable name, and no market for names.
- No particular perk, level or event in the future.
- OnWallet is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or partnered with Ripple or the XRP Ledger Foundation.
11. Who may take part
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
- You may not take part if you are in, or ordinarily live in, a country or region under comprehensive sanctions of the United Nations, Singapore, the United States, the European Union or the United Kingdom; if you are named on a sanctions list of any of them; or if you act for someone who is.
- You may not take part where the offer, or your taking part, is against the law that applies to you.
- We may check email addresses and XRP Ledger accounts before we issue a pass or a name. We may refuse, pause or end a reservation, a claim, a membership, a pass or a name, and stop offering any of them in any country, where we believe this is needed to comply with the law, to stop fraud or abuse, or to protect other members.
- You are responsible for following the laws, and paying the taxes, that apply to you.
12. Using OnWallet and this website
- We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence, which we can end, to use this website, OnWallet and OnWallet ID for what they are made for. All other rights stay with OpenApps. Some components of OnWallet are made by others and come with their own licence terms, which are listed in the extension.
- You must not: reserve or claim with bots or in bulk; sell, buy or trade invite keys; impersonate anyone; use a name to mislead or to infringe someone's rights; attack, overload or probe our systems beyond what our security policy allows; or copy, change or resell the website, OnWallet or OnWallet ID except as the law expressly allows.
- You alone control your wallet. You are responsible for your device, your password, your 24 words if you keep them, and the part of your key that you keep (a Recovery Kit file and its code, a passkey or your Google Drive). We cannot see, reset or recover any of them except as section 9 describes. Anyone who gets them may be able to move your funds.
- The XRP Ledger, exchanges, card and payment providers shown in the wallet, Google, email providers, browsers and app stores are run by others, under their own terms. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
- Testnet is for testing. Testnet XRP, passes and names have no value, and Testnet may be reset or ended at any time without notice.
13. No warranty
This website, OnWallet, OnWallet ID, the Genesis pass, .on names and the perks are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we give no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, or that anything will be uninterrupted, free of errors, or free of loss. We do not warrant that other wallets, explorers or services will read .on names, or anything about the XRP Ledger or the value of XRP or any other token. Software can contain errors: OnWallet has had an internal security review only (section 9).
14. Limits of our liability
- To the fullest extent the law allows, OpenApps, its directors, staff and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or opportunity.
- To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss of XRP, tokens, NFTs or names caused by: your password, device, Recovery Kit, code, passkey or 24 words being lost, shared or stolen; phishing, malware or a compromised device or browser; a wrong address, amount or approval that you entered or confirmed; the XRP Ledger, its validators, a change to its reserve or rules, or an outage; a service run by someone else; or anything beyond our reasonable control.
- Our total liability for all claims about these terms, the website, OnWallet, OnWallet ID, the pass, names and perks is limited to the greater of what you paid OpenApps in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow to be limited.
15. Rights you keep by law
If you are a consumer, the law where you live may give you rights that a contract cannot take away. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, it applies as far as the law allows and the rest stays in force.
16. Claims against us caused by you
To the extent the law allows, you will cover OpenApps for reasonable losses and costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from a claim by someone else that results from your breach of these terms, your misuse of the website, OnWallet or a name, or your infringing someone else's rights, except to the extent the claim was caused by us.
17. Changes, and if we stop
- We may change these terms and the name policy. We will post the new text here with its date and, for a change that affects you materially, email the address on your reservation or OnWallet ID at least 14 days before it applies. A change needed by law, or to fix a security problem, can apply at once. If you do not agree to a change, stop using what it covers; you can cancel a reservation, or delete your OnWallet ID, at any time.
- We may change, pause or end any part of this website, the reservations, Genesis, the registrar, the name lookup service or the perks. Where we can, we give at least 30 days' notice before ending one.
- If we stop running the registrar or the lookup service, passes and names already issued stay in their holders' accounts on the XRP Ledger, and the issuing accounts and rules stay published, so that anyone can still check them. No compensation is due when any part ends.
18. Not a financial service
- OpenApps does not buy, sell, exchange, hold or transfer XRP or any other digital token for you, and gives no investment, legal or tax advice. If you buy XRP through a provider shown in the wallet, you deal with that provider under its terms.
- The Genesis pass, levels, perks and .on names are not investments and carry no expectation of profit. Do not reserve, claim or invite others in the hope of a financial return (section 10).
19. Names, marks and contact
- OnWallet, OnWallet ID, OpenApps and Genesis, and their logos, belong to OpenApps. A .on name gives no right to any trademark. "XRP" and "XRP Ledger" are used only to name the network; see section 10.
- Questions, complaints and requests about these terms, a reservation, a pass or a name: support@onwallet.si. Security problems: the "Report a vulnerability" link at the foot of this page.
20. Who you contract with, the law, and disputes
- You contract with Elevated Spaces Pte. Ltd., a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202641668K), which runs OnWallet and its services as OpenApps, of 60 Paya Lebar Road, #06-28, Paya Lebar Square, Singapore 409051.
- These terms are governed by the law of Singapore, without regard to its rules on conflict of laws.
- Before starting any proceedings, write to us at support@onwallet.si, and give us 30 days to try to resolve the matter.
- Any dispute that is not resolved that way is decided by arbitration in Singapore, administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre under its rules in force at the time, before one arbitrator, in English. Either of us may instead bring a claim within the limits of the Small Claims Tribunals of Singapore, or ask a court for urgent relief.
- To the extent the law allows, claims are brought individually, not as part of a class or representative action, and within one year after the claim arose.
- If you are a consumer and the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts, or under its own law, you keep that right (section 15).
- These terms, the name policy and the privacy notice are the whole agreement about what they cover. If we do not enforce a term at once, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over the services; you may not transfer them. Where a translation differs from the English, the English applies.
